i have this big dance competetion this weekend and i have a fever blister please help me get rid of it.

hi R. my man has them really bad and my sister does too. they both are driven crazy with them but they use Abreva and it works better than most things have. Another thing is it's called Westcort cream, but it's RX only. Good Luck and Hope it's Gone Real Quick.Oh! You might want to try Carmex, it could help-can't hurt.

You may not have enough time to completely get rid of it. It will depend on what part of the cycle you're in. If it's just starting, I'd put ice on it. I usually take a cube of ice, hold it with a wash cloth and hold it directly on the cold sore. Hold it there until the ice cube is completely melted. You may need to repeat this a few times. I have also used Abreva. It is very expensive, but works well. You might also look in your area for dentists that use lasers. My dentist does a cold sore treatment, using the laser. Good Luck!

Abreva- it is expensive but it works. You can also take a supplement called L-lysine. It helps to take it ASAP but it will help it to heal more quickly. I take L-lysine in mega doses for a few days- like three or four pills 4 to 5 times a day but I only do this for a few days, of course I can not recommend you to take more than recommended but I do.
