We used to when I was at school, they would patrol in the town and the parks. Maybe if we still had them there would not be so many bunking off.

it depends on where you live, here in canada in alberta, we don't have any (to the best of my knowledge)...you would have to look for the underpriviledged areas in order to find these sorts of things...typically crimes are closely related to low incomes
