How about trying John Lewis, or Debenhams for some bed covers?
Crisp white, ivory, or cream would usually go with any bedroom colour, (if you don't know what their's is) they can accessorise it accordingly.
Or,
His and hers' bath robes... Debenhams have some lovely thich ones in white, cream and mocha-kinda colour..
Or,
Gift Vouchers are a safe bet
Good luck, sure you will make the right decision
