File your FAFSA online it gets into the system faster within 2-5 working days versus the 4-6 weeks time if done by the postal mail. It's easier online so if any corrections need to be made it's done quicker and saves on postage.

I am assuming you mean filing paperwork--if you mean filing taxes, etc, I'd say go to a tax preparer.
Anyway, to file things quickly have your file set up so that it is easy to file. Have folders for each letter of the alphabet or by the dates or whatever system you use.
Take 5 files at a time, and sort them in the order. Then place in main files.
If you have a lot of files coming in all the time, having in boxes for certain sections (like A-M and N-Z) can help with pre sorting.

For your taxes, you can always file online. Use something like taxslayer.com or, better yet, go to www.irs.gov and look up an e-service that fits your finances best by clicking "Free File."
As for FAFSA, you can use the print-out you get from any online tax preparation to complete it at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Good luck!
