If you guys have been friends for 3 years, it must be for a good reason. She sees something in you that she likes, and you see something in her that you like as well. Maybe if you just let it out slow and flirt a little more- even joke about it a little bit- you'll see if she likes you a lot or just as a friend. Then you'll know where to go. It's better for you to flirt and give little hints than to just come out and say "I want to date you" to someone you've been friends with for so long. So like I said, let out your feelings progressively, and trust me, you'll know what to do.

I'm not too sure about the personality thing, but they say opposites attract. Anyway, if she has been your friend for 3 years, don't just ask her on a date out of the blue. It will completely throw her off. Instead, make subtle hints that you are interested and see how she responds. Build up the subtle hints for a bit and there shouldn't be any surprises.

I think you should ask her out. You will never know what's gonna happen unless you don't ask her out. Maybe she likes you, too.
Ask her out for lunch, so she won't feel suspicious about it. Some girls may know or feel what you up to if you ask her out at night for dinner. Lunch usually seems more casual.
Leave the rest of the day open. If the lunch went well, maybe go catch a movie or do things you like to do. Then dinner, or more if everything went smoothly.
Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you. Pay attention to the signs girl giving out. Good Luck!

Ask her out. My wife and I are opposites and we have been together 7 years. Do not be afraid of rejection. It is only in your mind.

I think there something between you and her and I do believe it will work out great. You know all about her and she knows all about you. I understand u too r opposite but still I think you understand each other, care for each other, respect, etc
Don't be afraid. Trust me its better to ask then not.
I asked a good friend of mine no he didn't like me in that way...but i knew he did but refuse to admit but we still r friends...nothing changed

No, don't ask her out. You are different from her and she's different from you. There are just going to be lots of compromises and one party might end up being hurt. Stay as friends its the best unless you want someone to get hurt.

the only way to know is asking her. If she says no just move on... if she say yes, now the real work will begin. Good luck
