I highly reccommend against this. You both are at completey different stages in your life. You have to think, "why would he want to date someone half his age?" Even if it isn't just physical (and it probably is), you have to consider that there will be a complete imbalance of control. He's been in the game a lot longer than you. He'll know what to say and do to manipulate you. Even if he's a nice guy the relationship will never be equal. Also, will he expect for you to act like a 20 year old or like a 45 year old woman? Now is the time to discover yourself, the world, your future. A 45 yr old man will not allow you to do that. The expectations for the relationship will be completely different.

sry but thats way too old ! ..im 21 ...it wud be like dating ure dad ...n if he's truely single n like u , hes not up for flings ...n we on the other end , are less settled in relationships . my advice is that the max max age a gal our age shud date is no more than 12 yrs which is alrdy a huge gap ! ...imagine if u two were to get married , by the time ure 30 at ure career peak , hes alrdy 55 ready to retired

You're old enough to make your own decision but I would be skeptical of the 45 year old. He probably just wants one thing.
