Here's the truth.
All science theories are put forth for peer review. The job of every scientist is to prove that the work of every other scientist is bunk. It is only accepted as valid when those who want to tear it to shreds cannot. This is why evolutionary theory is so strongly rooted in biology. Those who try find fault in it are unable to do so effectively.
Compare this with ANY other theory of speciation. Every one of them has been defeated in the scientific literature.
But look in the creationists' books written for public consumption. If you follow up on the footnotes, you will find that they have misquoted, misinterpreted, cited outdated studies, or just fabricated information from the sciences to support their theories. Instead of looking for the cause of speciation, they start with the Genesis account and cherry-pick studies (even those that have been later discredited) to support their conclusion. Anything that falls outside their ready-made conclusion is discarded.
Which one of those models do you see as leading to honesty? Which one of those do you see as having a hidden agenda?

Evolution does not lie, it is a fact of life, like it or not.
I do not know of any intentional lies from Evolutionists, they have presented theories (ie: conjecture, speculation or opinion) which they believe to be true.
The problem with people is the fact that they can misinterpret the information before them, which is I'm aftraid a human failing, so they are sometimes wrong, it does not make it a lie.
What would they gain by lying - nothing, and a true scientist would not risk his/her reputation by lying.
*Evolutionism from the Latin evolutio (unrolling) refers to theories that certain things develop or change as natural (unplanned) outgrowths of those that existed before, in contrast to beliefs that these things are fixed and immutable.
An evolutionist is a proponent of such a theory.*
Science and Religion can co-exist if only people would open their eyes and their minds.

In their hearts, I don't believe that evolutionists lie. To be a lie you have to be intentionally trying to deceive and I do not believe that to be the case with 99% of evolutionists.
I do believe that evolutionists have made some mistakes. I believe that they have made some conclusions that seem to be correct but in the absence of any other explanation that they can accept from the point of view, they do draw inaccurate conclusions.

They gain the means to explain where we come from from a scientific point of view. Along with that, they gain the honor of being verbally, and on occasion physically, assaulted by those who refuse to accept even the possibility that their religion has failed to adequately explain life as we know it.

I asked a very similar question in this same category just 8 minutes ago. I'll put yours on my watch list so I can see the answers. You may want to do the same to mine.
My heading is "Religion and Science".
-----------------------------------------------------
Later:
Whoops! My heading is
"When Religion and Science Conflict?"
Sorry!
--------------------------------------------------
Even later:
I predict at least half of the people won't answer your question, which is "What advantage do evolutionists gain by lying about their field?".

Please show examples of lies about evolution. I can produce hundreds, but they're all from creationists.
There is no such thing as an evolutionist by the way. To give you an idea of how absurd such a term is, would you speak of yourself as being a gravitist?

I believe that the argument is that 'evolutionists' try to take God out of the equation and make the claim that everything was a big mistake, by chance.
I personally believe that God had used evolution in his creation. Nothing is beyond him...

Basically someone had to come up with an excuse as to why the atheists are here. If they did not come up with the evolution story then atheists would have no choice but to believe in God and Creation

They think it's a religion thing. It's not. You make a good point what do we gain from lying? We just want people to understand logical thinking.

That doesn't make any sense. And school is a place to learn about different things particularly science and not religion.
