The Republican's Used the Gay Trump card of Gay Marriage to win the last presidential election. Now they are trying to use the Gay issue of Allowing Gay people to serve openly in the Military to as a political issue. Since Obama and Hilary are for allowing Gay people to serve openly, the Republicans are using that to Scare the Fundamentalist Religious Republicans to rally. The Republicans think that by Using the Gay Trump Card it will save the White House from the Democrats in 2008. I don't think it will work. But isn't it funny how predictable the Republican Leaders are and how naive some Fundamentalist Christians are at not seeing through this Smoke Screen. I'm sure the General Pace's comments were well planned out with the Leaders of the Repulican Party Headed by George Bush. Do you agree that this attemp will fail this time?

Well, duh.

Have you every played the September 11th drinking game? You listen to the president's speeches and whenever he says "9-11" or "the attacks of 2001" or another date, you drink two shots.
When he links Iraq to it, you drink one more.
When he paints anyone who disagrees with him as supporting the terrorists, you drink another.

Usually that's 8-9 shots in the first 2 minutes of a speech. I'm usually too drunk by the time he gets to any other scare tactic.

Even if it is just a 'trump card' as you call it, why would Christian fundamentalists vote for those that openly support a lifestyle they consider to be a grievous sin in the sight of God, as Obama and Hillary do.

Here's an example of the equivalent.
Dina's absolute favorite food is sushi. She knows that Greg absolutely hates sushi and would never step inside a restaurant with sushi. Bob isn't too crazy about it, either, but is willing to take her out for some. If that's all she has to base her decision on, who's she going to go out with?

Tracer - I commonly consider you yet no longer this time. i think of that abortion rights and Gores warm air with regard to the ecosystem and scarcity of air of secret did plenty greater to electrify the vote than did the gay subject. i think of that generic %. made a assertion approximately his own opinion on a sluggish information day and now his comments are being blown way out of share. Unfotunately while the information blows up comments like that, i think of it has a tendency to be very counterproductive the two to the militia and people who're battling for equivalent rights around the board.

Most Republicans don't agree with gay marriage anyways, so it doesn't really effect them. Politics in general are mostly deceiving.

In the end, the election will depend on stance on Iraq and whoever appears to have actual intelligence.

The majority will not vote in another idiot.
