Sorry, babes, yet a dictionary merely represents a slice of mainstream know-how at a definite time. And Jews have not been accurately represented interior the mainstream know-how in an eonically long term. Judaism is a faith, no longer a race. The Hebrews have been an historical team of folk, probably a Canaanite subgroup, possibly compelled into nomadism by ability of circumstances, who progressed a distinctive form of monotheistic non secular practice referred to as Judaism. some Jews would be their descendants, yet no longer all. The words are 'interchangeable' just to those that don't be attentive to lots approximately Judaism. Jews do no longer say we are 'the 1st'. this is a Christian thought. We did no longer grow to be monotheists or initiate a collective identity till Abraham. Genetic researchers hint area of DNA back to seven lady ancestors. So sure, people are all correct if we pass back far adequate. yet why no longer merely talk correct to the interconnectedness of all of life? the quantity of DNA we proportion with different animals is marvelous. Being Jewish actual ability something, and it is not genetic or racial, and it is not public materials for others to do with as they choose for. Please go away our call and our identity on my own.

Adam and Eve are symbolic of man and woman not literal people. Not to say that there wasn't an Adam and an Eve but to assume that they were the only humans is ludicris. You need to take a class in Bible interpretation to get the full picture. Go to www.bible.org and go to the Theology Course section and take a listen or watch the videos they are very good at explaining these types of questions.

The reason you know we are all related is because we have no trouble breeding with any other race.Animals do have difficulty. After the Flood of Noah, men began to wander all over the earth and as a result, they changed with their environment. The further north he went, the lighter the skin stayed etc.
Noah's son ,Ham was father to Cush ,who started the area of Ethiopia,Mizraim who founded Egypt, and Canaan who founded the area of Palestine. Those descendants changed over the years because of the heat or lack of it.That's just one example.

Well, they could've been heterozygous for every allelle with a simple dominant/recessive (Mendelian) system, which would introduce a lot of variability into their offspring- but we'd all still sort that way.
The other option, of course, is that Genesis is not literal, which would explain why the god of Abraham creates the word twice, in two different ways, in the same book.

Without evolution or a greater gene pool, there would not be such diversity. It would simply be impossible.
