my husband is an over the road truck driver he once delivered to a dog food processing plant, brace yourself for this but there are a certain amount of rat feces and hair even carcasses that are allowed to be processed in the dog food,he was told this after he saw large rats running everywhere in the plant,he was told by one of the workers that sometimes even a few whole rats will get stuck in the mix and get ground into dog food, dog food plants aren't quite as picky about vermin running around as people food plants apparently so it was probably a rat hair,by the way that was a Purina dog food plant

That is just gross. I would get rid of the food and buy regular treats. I have heard from a lot of people that kibbles n bits are really bad for your dog. Also hot dogs cut up are a really good for training purposes. I had a dog trainer tell me that.

Kibbles N Bits is not a great dog food, and I would guess that their quality control is a little lax. A hair won't hurt the dog, but yes, it is gross. I would suggest switching to a premium food - one where the first ingredient is a meat, not a grain (ever seen wolves taking down a field of corn???). There are some better foods available in the supermarket (if you don't want to make a special trip to a pet store for a premium food) nowadays, or you can make your own.

Thats because kibbles and bits is a horrible disgusting food, that has unidentified meat sources..... take a guess what the hair is, I bet its worse than you think. You want training bits for dogs not made of dogs.. try Charlee bear treats.

NO< NOT AT ALL! Take it back where you got it, it could be rat hairs, rodents are nasty and you don't want your dogs eating anything contaminated by them. The store will accept it, I return things all the time. Also write pedigree, and tell them about it, do this first they will want the info off the bag. You can go to the pedigree web-site then find their contact button. Sometimes companies will make it right. But they have a right to know incase the whole batch was tainted

thats pretty gross, i think there is an 800 number on the back of the kibble bag, call it and let them know... they will either tell you its normal or replace the bag

Who cares a dog is eating it. My dog just recently ate a skunk and she didnt seem to care about the hair to much. She sure did stink afterwards though.

If you keep pulling on it, you'll pull a large dogie bone out of it . It is the surprise in the package .Now if you were pulling it out of your dog's throat, you would find the sock you lost last weekend .

it was probably yours if you haven't noticed your hair is black and next time u should probably wear a hair net. I don't think the dogs even noticed their hairy food.
