Alright my ex girlfriend and i just broke up about a month ago, after being together for 3 years. Well when we broke up she wanted to remain friends with me but at that time i said i didnt want to be friends, because i was still in love with her, so we ended up having a nasty breakup. Well now im no longer in love with her and its has been a couple of months since we spoke, and i miss her and im wondering is it okay for me to call her let her know that i do want to be her friend instead of losing her completely. But like i said it did become a nasty breakup and i said some mean things so im kinda scared to call her, but she is and always will have a part of my heart and im sure she feels the same about me.

Call her and tell her you just want to be friends and everything else and tell her you are sorry.

I don't think that's a good idea, because you just brOKe up with her. It will be hard to get over her and move on with your life if you remain friends with her. It's ok for you to talk to her every now and then when ever you see her, but it would be safer for both of you if you kept it at that distance. I'm speaking from experience i tried to be friends with my ex but it didn't work, because of the love we had for each other we ended right back together, and it didn't work, because of the same reason why we broke up the first time. It's been five months now, since we've actually been together, and i thought i would never make it this far. But i have, you have to be strong and resist the temptation to call her, because its just going to hurt you BOTH in the end. I can actually see him now and smile and talk, and resist the urge to get back with him, it was hard to get to this point, but with strength and patience I've made it this far. Bros before hoes... That being said brother, do what's the best thing for you. If calling her will help your game, than do so. Although I will say I think calling her will only cause you stress. Play it simple, find another one. That's what I'd do.

If you still love her, it will eat at you
call her if you are willing to fight for her and willing to be patient, knowing that what you are waiting for might never come
Call her, and be honest, but kind
Tell her you miss her,
but if you aren't strong enough to lose her again, then move on
and don't call

Tell her you didn't mean it and would like to be friends and then give her some time to think about it and get back to you, but don't put any pressure on her. Good Luck.

Probably best just to let her go for good...getting back into contact could revive some old feelings and make it hard to move on.

Learn from your mistakes, first of all.
Send her a friendly card, just to say hi, and let her know you miss her friendship. Apoligize for your childish behavior.

you might try calling her and apologizing of the things that you said and that you would really like it if you two could still be friends but you completely understand if she doesn't want to. it might work . . . it might not no guarantees but GOOD LUCK
