just go ask the models and pin thin actresses that always have coffee in their hands, but they use light cream and splenda if you can't drink it black! Fills you up and causing appetite suppressed.

I do not know what researchers say about it!

However, because of a diet that I follow where I stop eating between 16:00 to 18:00, I find that black coffee helps me with the food craving that follows this diet. I stop drinking coffee around 11PM -11:30PM.

It itself is very low in calories. So my answer is that it is good for me when I try to lose weight. Together with daily walking exercise, it has let me lose 20 pounds over the last 2 years.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

No, just don't add sugar (reasons are pretty obvious).
Caffeine increases your metabolism & heart rate. Coffee might suppress your appetite as well.
Try a latte (dairy product consumption are usually part of any good diet) or just plain black coffee.
Hope that helps. Give it a try for a few days and see what happens. If anything, I don't think it'll be something that keeps you from losing weight.

It most certainly is. A fairly widely accepted idea in health is that instable blood sugar levels are a fast track to weight gain. This is the case for many reasons, not limited to the fact that unburned sugar turns to fat, so spikes of it are less likely to be burned, or the fact that the drops in blood sugar are likely to make a person eat more. Again, not limited to that, and I encourage you to read further into it.

Coffee, in itself isn't the problem. The problem is that even if you don't add any artificial sugar, caffeine is known to spike your blood sugar quite a lot, thus resulting in a more difficult time losing weight, or resulting directly in weight gain.

Coffee itself only has like 2 calories per cup. It's all the cream and sugar you add in. However if you take it black, then it's just fine.

coffee is ok as long as you don't add a lot of cream and sugar. however, coffee does act as a diuretic. it'll make you urinate more, but as a consequence, you're body will learn to retain more water. so over time, you'll end up retaining more water weight.

Coffee suppresses your appetite so not a bad thing, but dependss on what you put in it, it can also be one of the worst things for you.
