we broke up over a year ago due to me pushing him away by being so insecure about myself. now i've become more conifdent and open with him. after a year we started talking again, then at a party we slept together. we didn't talk for a few weeks, but soon made up and now we've become really close. we hang out all the time with our groups of friends. we joke about what happened at the party all the time too, and he says it was really nice.

i still have feelings for him. he's always coming up with reasons to see me, but with our friends too. i've just broken up with someone, but i wasn't that into them so i'm over them. my ex is really protective over of me, and sometimes we talk about our relationship in a happy manner.

i don't know if he wants to remain friends or become something in time? i do still like him alot. can ex's stay close friends?

you already have your ex boyfriend back as a friend
but now you want him back as a lover.

you didn't mention much about your ex-boyfriend(now your friend)
Is he into a relationship???
If he has a girlfriend, don't try to get him back.
If you really love him ,what should really bother you is to see him happy,
and not necessarily happy with you.
So continue being good friends.

If he is single, then go ahead and give it a try.
You both have matured. He has already forgiven you,and and shown sings that he still cares for you.He loved you (as a lover) ,and still loves you as a friend.

The fact that you broke up with him, shows he never really had problems with you(that he couldn't deal with).
So go ahead and start a new relationship with this gut.
But remember to GIVE HIM HIS SPACE,
AND DON'T TAKE HIM FOR GRANTED.

LOTS OF LUCK AND WISHES.
MAY GOD BLESS BOTH OF YOU.

Some can, but not the type who are prone to sleeping together at parties. :) It seems to me that you guys have way too much chemistry to ever be "just friends". Since you obviously want more than a friendship anyway, and you stated that you guys are really close, then telling him how you feel shouldn't be that hard. I think that's what you need to do. Put yourself out there...enough time has passed that I think you could give it another go. If it doesn't work out, at least you'll know rather than wondering what could have been.

Good luck.

i think that this guy really likes you but scared to get really close to you again but at the same time he may think that you dont want to be in the relationship with him so maybe you two need to sit down one on one and talk about yall wanna do.

Don't go back and relive your past with him pushing you away..move forward with someone else.
