Go to the River Cafe at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn. The view of Lower Manhattan is great.
Just grab a Taxi in Lower Manhattan opver the Brooklyn Bridge.
BTW March 19 - 23 is restaurant week in Bklyn. This normally a bit pricey restaurant participates with a special very reasonable menu.

Four Seasons Restaurant in Manhattan. Ask to be put in the pool room when you make your reservation. If you are seated by 6 Pm you can get the pre-theater dinner for $65 a person which is appetizer through dessert and the food and service are incredible. After that you can go to a show.

It depends on what you'd like to do. A Broadway show (I recommend Spamalot), Statue of Liberty, a helicopter tour of the city, Times Square, clubs, museums...
