I am interested in the answers here - I really feel this myself. I almost see in the answers in this section concerning Athiests to be more about their beliefs regarding organized relgion than God. I can't say as I blame them in some respect. I understand many people have been hurt by religious people and Churches. But I still love that Jesus fellow! LOL*

I do not believe God exists because I have seen no proof of Him. If you wish to call me an atheist, so be it. But I do not believe I fit the other requirements of being an atheist. (I will not go into that here.)
But I am against organized religion. I think it hurts people far more that it does any good. Even my Christian husband is against Christianity. Organized religion is a BAD THING.

There is a grand total of zero gods. That is the exact number. In addition, religion is harmful to both believers and others and should be done away with. We can't be 'against god' since we understand none of those exist.

I am not against god. I do not believe in god so I'm not like waging war on something that doesn't exist. I am against organized religion. The hate they spread disgusts me. and to do it in the name of god?? So many people become better people and turn their lives around because they believe in god and all that and people totally pervert that by using god as the axe they weild in their fight for money and power. I think it's just awful!

what is the meaning of atheist. i think you know better. but if your against of god your automatically against of religion.and if you are against of religion you are automatically against of god. scientist say that this world came into being by big bang theory. but if it so. nothing would be in a prescribe manner or rotation. if you want to be a believer read all the holy books like Bible Taura and Quran. you will get the answer of everything from Quran even what was said thousands of years ago. it is true now adays

Many, if not most, are neither. In general, they don't think about it.
Other than that, I don't think any atheist is against god, as it does not exist. If they speak out, it is generally against the religions build up around this figure and their effect on society.

I'm not against god, i just don't believe in god
I'm not even really against organized religion so much as I'm against the people that use their religion as a "crutch" or as an excuse.

I'd say religion. Without it, what would you have to complain about, or argue with.
God is very powerful and mysterious, and shows it by creating Atheists, to cast doubt on his own existence.
Atheists are proof that God exists. In my opinion.

I am not "against" god. I simply don't believe in one.
I am against most organized religions because they tend to do more harm than good. That does not mean that I am against christians, muslims, buddhists, etc, on a personal level.

Definitely, Atheists don't believe in God, so there is nothing to be against there. Religion however is alive and well and is very threatening.
