I have always heard that but I really don' think so.
If I was a cop I'd pull over cars that were in a state of disrepair more often.
I would think that those would be the people who are more likely to be breaking a law or two.
But than again I am not a cop-

There's a reason why it's known as "pull me over red." A red car is easier for cops to track as they're chasing you down. You could be in a pack of speeders and you're the one they're going to pull over.
Of course, that doesn't stop me from driving a red vehicle. And I deserve more tickets than I actually have gotten.

I've been driving my flashy, red, two door car for years. I haven't been pulled over any more than I used to in my dull gray car. Of course, I keep a "support your local sheriff" sticker on my bumper just in case.

YES
I sold off my classic street rod for I was so tired of getting stopped so cops could search the car. The kids were small at the time and because of the car I drove cops just assumed I was doing something wrong.
When the cops would not find anything in my car never did I get we are sorry for making your kids cry and being late for school, or this would not happen again or nothing!!

Thats the rumor, red cars are more noticeable and the eye focuses on them in a sea of other cars a lot more easily. You could also make the argument that therefore red cars get in less accidents because they are much easier to see...I know that in my white car i get people pulling out in front of me a lot more than i did in my old red car.....

if the car looks fast and the driver looks young... watch out. sports cars usually get pulled over more than soccer mom vans. not to say we wont get the soccer mom in the voyager...but its common sence.
but if a car is in disrepair or broken a55 and i see it speeding, yeah i'd get that one too.
lol just get a grey ford tarus. right down the middle of the road. not flashy, but not crappy either.

I am not for sure but way back in my college days I had a friend with a red convertible Fiat (he thought it was a sports car) & he said it did.
Might have actually been his driving however!

I am actually more likely to pull over vehicles that are wrecks and that have obvious problems (burned headlights, smashed taillights). People who don't take the time or can't afford to fix their vehicles often have no insurance and/or suspended licences.
If a vehicle is speeding it really doesn't matter what colour it is.

i think those nice traffic cops are really bored out of their minds eating donuts and sipping coffee all day long so they get a major thrill out of pulling good looking babes in (red) exotic 2 door sports cars over to "check them out " after they (strip) search you and your vehicle for anything that can be used against you they might give you a ticket if you don't cooperate or comply to their demands or wishes (really your driving too fast for conditions so please take care and slow down ) so easy on the gas pedal slow down have a safe trip & enjoy the ride - attention

yes I do because they are more noticable and police associate flashy cars with the drug world.
