you don haf the divx codec... you have to download the whole divx thingy then u can play the movie... good luck!

I assume you are using Windows Media Player or similar. The reason the picture can not be displayed is that the software you are using can not understand the format .avi. To something like media player all a avi file is, is a sound file.

right clk the file and select Open With. Click Browse if the player of your choice is not listed. Select the player you think should play the file and try it. If it works, do the same thing again and check the box that says: Always open this file type with the selected program.

More than likely, your player does not have the codecs to decrypt the video. Go to the website of the player you are using and search for codecs download. Download them and install and that should solve your problem.

you don't have the right codecs.the best way to find out what codecs you need for any avi file is to get gspot 221.yes its a program never have the problem finding out what codec i need with this baby.

download codec pack and vlc media player from the site below they will play anything. If it doesnt work after that then the file is corrupt.
