It's hard to make that assumption when he hasn't fought a real heavy puncher. In my opinion of the heavyweights out their right now the best chin has to be David Tua. He's had 51 fights, and he's never been knocked down. I don't think he's ever been hurt. And he's faced some heavy hitters, Lennox Lewis, Hassim Rahkman, Ike Ibeuchi, David Izon, Michael Moorer, Oleg Maskaev, and the list goes on.

We may never know. Until at least he decides to fight a legitimate fighter with the power to test his chin. He has fought almost 50 times and the biggest two names on his resume are Monty Barrett and John Ruiez, ( A fight that was in Russia and he still got Booed by his home town crowd because they thought Ruiez won). If he ever wants to be known as an all time great anything, he best find a real opponent. A title unify cation bout with Wladimer Klitchko would do the trick. I personally think Wlad would Knock him out, but it would resolve his question of how good he really is.

No one knows yet, because he is yet to be tested.

Of those who WERE tested, I'd say the best chins in the Heavyweight division (all time) were...

1: Oliver McCall (never knocked out - yet. Has been in with Lennox Lewis twice, Buster Douglas, an aged Larry Holmes, and Frank Bruno, and used to spar Tyson).

2: Ray Mercer (knocked out twice, at the age of 41 by Wlad Klitschko, and at the age of 44 by Shannon Briggs. Boxed an aged Larry Holmes, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis and Tim Witherspoon).

3: David Tua (never knocked out, boxed Hasim Rahman twice, and Lennox Lewis).

No I would say his chin is suspect to say the least, I've seen him wobbled in I think every one of the few fights of his that I've seen. Now that could be him just being clumsy and uncordinated. Regardless the guy is just not that good, not even average. He just hits hard cuz of his size, the moment a real fighter puts pressure on him, it's over for him.

No Ruiz hurt him. I actually thought John Ruiz won that fight. Valuev hasn't been tested yet really. When he steps in the ring with some guys with some punching power and skill then we'll find out.

We don't know. Study his opponents list and you will find none of them has a KO percentage of above 70 percent. He has not been tested which should tell you a little about that undefeated record. I don't remember exactly but the last time I checked the opoponents KO's may not be above 64 or 65 percent.

I don't know about the "best" chin, but it just might be the "biggest" chin in boxing.
