What are you doing to reduce pollution?

I reduce reuse and recycle when possible. We're lucky that we now have plastic bag recycling yay.

I restrict my car travel where possible, which is helped by living close to shopping. I personally do not drive because I've never had the interest, and I think I likely won't until there's better cars or better fuels(the sheer cost of gas now is enough to scare me off ha).

I have replaced my lightbulbs with CFLs so we're saving a bundle on energy there. We also try to stop heatloss as best as possible. I've also started to dress for the season, something I never did prior, short sleeves in summer and long sleeves in winter, with a sweater if necessary. This lets the house temperature be set a few degrees lower in winter and a few higher in summer, and again saves us a bunch on electricity. We also have a digital thermostat, because we don't need the house heated in the dead of night when we're sleeping in our cozy beds.

There's more that I will do when we move into a house, like get the super efficient washer and dryers that are front load. That'll save a ton of cash. I'm also going to push soon for us to switch our power to a green power provider, this part costs more but it negates all of our house power useage(they pump the amount of power you use into the grid from green sources like wind or hydroelectric, I'll put a link below).

Also I think this summer I'll go plant some trees, noone ever said there's too many trees.
