ok so its tuesday during spring break. i called my girlfriend around 9:00 like i always do. She sounded depressed so i asked her wats wrong. She told me she wants to break up. my heart sank i didnt know wat to say. i asked her why and she said that she didnt want to depend on a guy. it confused me and it still does. wat does she mean and wat should i do. i still love and would like to keep going out with her but she want to break it off. so if any one could tell my wat i should do im listening.

she also kept telling me that i deserve better than her and that i should move on and find someone else. wats up with that

She wants some time to be independent. She is wanting to realize who she is, assess what her values are and try and find herself. be patient with her and perhaps in time she will rekindle a relationship with you. Giver her some time.

does she have a job? or does she feel like she has to depend on your for money? something like that? maybe she wants to be indepent right now.. only she can make the right choice and that sucks to say that. your going to be hurting while she's unsure of what she wants to do. Give her a little space and she if she comes around.. send her a sweet email in a few days or something to let her know you still care.
