The man form is higher than the angel form; of all forms it is the highest. Man is the highest being in creation, because he aspires to freedom.

I think it is a good quote. Man was given free will and faith to choose or not chose to believe in God. This in fact baffling the angels as in their realm they weren't given a choice. They see, they know and seeing is believing to them which is why we are on a higher form. Pretty cool I think. Been studying this extensively as of late too.

I think it sucks. What's in it for me? I am man, not angel so what do I care whether I'm higher or low in some list? Does that mean I have to yield at stop signs to all angels, no matter who got there first? they have to yield to me? You know those rules always get you in trouble, right? I mean, sure, you have the right of way but if you intentionally hit the angel, you're still at fault. I think I'm better than a cat, I mean, I've got a nice house and it doesn't smell like cat piss and I don't have to lick myself to clean up. But...cat's get a lot of tail. So who's better off? Ok, you asked, I gave you my opinion, now get back to work.

Edit: Oh yeah, very few people (probably zero) have been both angel and man (not necessarily at the same time but in series) so this comparison is utterly hypothetical and frankly, I've never seen an angel so it's entirely likely they are also hypothetical creatures.

Man's form IS above the angels. But not because of anything that man aspires to, but because God made him that way.

Wrong - we are made a little lower than the angels.
Psalm 8:4 & 5
What is man, that thou art mindful of him: And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou has made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.

John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

America aspires to freedom because our Lord made us free indeed. You cannot make that arrogant quote without acknowledging the Lord, because without the Lord man would be nothing.

An angel slew 185,000 men so without the Lord it would be the survival of the fittest and man would lose. "He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world."

Not everyman aspires freedom though. Some choose to wrap themselves in religions that dictate how they are to live their lives.

Man is made just lower then the angles, freedom without responsibility is anarchy, responsibility without freedom is tyranny

i think it does not sound right. The one thing man has over angels is the gift of redemption.
