dont do it...get her spayed..she can be spayed anytime between 6-8 months..do it prior to her first heat cycle.....there are so many dogs/pups that are getting put to sleep daily at shelters....adopt adopt adopt...smile
Edit: there is not alot of $ in breeding dogs and they really have to be A+ top of the line dogs with the pedigrees, show records, etc etc etc....think about this before you do it...please...smile

If you don't know the answer to this question you need to do a lot more research (outside of yahoo answers) before you breed (if you breed at all, which I would really advise against unless you have an outstanding dog in both health and temperament).

You should always wait until she is two. At this age she should be mature enough to handle the pups and by then her body is fully grown and the pups won't take away from her growth. Make sure she is healthy and make sure you read up on everything breeding takes. It is a lot of work but if you don't mind the work then enjoy. The pups are a lot of fun to have around.

Between 18 mos and 24 mos. Shouldn't breed her after age 5-6.

I hear 2 but I also hear they should be shown well and also have their hips and eyes.. and something else checked out first.
If you don't know the age, though- you really should probably research a TON instead of breeding.
