Why are stars treated so differently than the rest of us? She adopts on Thursday morning, meets with the U.S. Consular on Thursday afternoon. Is provided a passport in time to get back to the U.S. by the end of the weekend? Meantime, the rest of us have to go through mounds of legal paperwork and long periods of time waiting for Visa numbers to come available, medical examinations, immunizations, interviews etc. Something just isn't right with the system. I am applying for an immigrant Visa for my wife of two years and my two adopted sons. They tell me it will take several months or possibly over a year to complete this. Can anyone tell me why they (stars) are treated differently by the government? I mean I understand their star treatment by shops, resturants etc. But by the very Government that says all Men (Women) are equal? Any thoughts on this?

Money talks. Didn't you know. She is adopting a child from a 3rd world nation to show everyone that she is a deep loving humanitarian. Why bring an orphan to America just to make him an orphan here too? You know the nannies raise them not her. If she really cared, she would adopt American orphans first and help America first. All she wants is publicity. Either that or leave a legacy like Mother Teresa did. The funny thing is that Mother Teresa didn't have cameras all around her when she was helping the poor and needy.

Because she is an elitist. Maybe if you bring a camera crew with you, it would speed up your process. But of course, that would show that publicity was more important than the child.

As a celebrity, her status is of public focus that there 's no doubt she wont involve in anomaly especally in adopting children.

Wealth and fame have their privileges. Are you just figuring this out now? It isn't right, but that's the way it is, and I see no easy way to rectify it.
