So should I introduce beef back into my diet or leave it alone? Any feedback will be appreciated..

Chicken is the best to eat to lose weight, boneless skinless chicken breat, so low in fat and calories.
Meat is what cause weight gain, unless you use portion control.
Meat and potatoes is a weight gainer in my opinion.
Hope co-workers are not just trying to sabotage your diet!

The only thing that beef has more of than the other meats is iron. If you're a male, the difference is pretty much useless, and for females, a suppliment is virtually always used, so it's meaningless anyways.

Red meat has more fat, more calories, is harder to process, and doesn't have significantly more protein. Fish, on the other hand, having as much or more protein as red meat, also has the omega fatty acids (some fish more than others), actually making it better for you in other ways.

Chicken, and such poultry, if bought as lean, are also super low in fat and calories, and provide a great amount of protein. Fish and poultry are also processed quite easily through the colon, where as red meat can be a lot more complicated long term.

I think whoever told you that eating red meat was healthier is clearly quite confused. Cutting beef out will certainly be a step in the right direction.

Beef, chicken, Turkey....are good for you. But all depends on how it's cooked. Also beef is good for you but not in teh form of a burger. Things to stay away from are starchy foods, and too much sugar, example: potatoes, breads, corn, some sauces used with foods (before and after cooking).
You need to give your body a little of everything for it to function properly and for your digestion to be regular. Portions are key and activity. Walk like 30 minutes a day is a simple activity, you can do just about anywhere.
Also Best meat is Fish for diets.

I am not an expert but I did do weight watchers, lol. What they tell you is that it isn't so much WHAT you eat it is how much you are consuming. Something high in fat and calories needs to be eaten in SMALL portions and avoided as an everyday food. So if you are concerned that you need the beef then you can reintroduce it but in small portions, and that goes for most meats. Chicken is good for weight loss but I am pretty sure that nutrients are lacking there. Vitimins are useful to make sure you are getting all that you need!

Never take anything out of your diet completely unless its a sugary overly processed food.... A good , healthy diet includes all nature has to offer. The secret is portion control and exercise. Unless your a diabetic or the doctor has ordered you to stop eating a certain food, continue to eat a healthy mix what nature has provided.

If you drink sodas cut those out completely. Even diet. It will be hard but drink water with your meals, I don't like water but adding lemon helps with my taste buds and I drink way more.........................You will be able to eat what ever you want in moderation. Also cutting out the fries on your plate also helps. Following a strict regimen is not necessary unless told to by a doctor.

Leave some food on your plate when you are done and you will shrink your stomach so that you don't crave so much food at every sitting.
The stomach can be stretched out by eating too much at one sitting. Snack healthy foods in between meals to get used to not eating so much at one meal. It increases your metabolism to keep something in your stomach all day.

Eating meat is your choice but I find a solid meat is harder to digest and makes me miserable. A ground meat usually gives me what I need. And again, I leave a little on the plate.

I am all about cutting out red meat in diets. I feel like it encourages me to eat hamburgers, and fries and all that bad stuff that goes with it. That is just how I feel....One word of precaution when you cut out red meat...dont start eating more carbs...because then you are doing worse then before. I did that....but now I am back on track. Oh, and if you cut out red meat...the red meat cravings go away after about a month. If you can hold out that long you can do it!

I do not recommend low carb diets. However, lean beef is a natural source of creatine. That is why so many strength athletes perform better when they eat it.

lean beef is ok. Pork really isnt that good for you at all, chicken is great and sea food is the best.

Good luck and watch your calories fat and protien content.
