As usual, I pay to have my suitcase wrapped in that transparent plastic thing which i do not remember now the name. Thing is that i will be at the airport around 9pm and i want to know if i can find any store or stand open at Heathrow
where i can wrap my suitcase with that transparent thing. I need a little of info to know in what part of the airport i can find that place and what time they close... THANKS!

Seeing the rule has not specified that the plastic thing needs to be the standard type they sell at the airport, why not get one of your own, as long as transparant. That way you can comfortably test it out, weighing it, chop & change what suits you better, in that bag or in the checked - suitin case. Not possible or very inconvenient to do that at the airport.

The thing they use at airports is just like pallet wrap, as used to wrap pallets of boxes for transport.

In a warehouse, the pallet is placed on turntable and the film, a little like pvc food wrap is wrapped around the boxes as the pallet turns.
