from past 3 weeks a friend of mine has been having the following symptoms:
1.multiple joint pains
2.throat pain
3.evening rise in temperature of around (100.5F) (lowgrade)
4.tiredness
5.pain in the lower back espically after taking rest
the local doctor said that its viral infection and gave painkillers and paracetemol but what viral infection has evening rise in temp.
plz this is serious i searched the web but i could not find much.finally i really hope there are doctors visiting yahoo answers.
plz help if u can

If you took them to the doc theres nothing else another doc can tell you over the internet. if you dont like that docs opinion go find another doc.

1. reduce beans intake for joint pains, drink 4 glasses of water after waking up for 30 days then breakfast after 45 min.
2. for throat pain, try strepsil candy
3. chicken soup 4 times/day for fiver
4. multivitamins fro tiredness
5. back pain, physical theraphy.
those are inexpensive before seeing a doctor.

It would be good to know how old your friend is and if she/he has any other medical problems. It could be seasonal allergies - it is that time of year, it could be Menopause, it could be a virus, she could have the flu with dehydration and fatigue it could be countless things and they really need to go see another doctor- those are generalized symptons and can be any number of things!

polyarthritis. low grade fever and sore throat.
Possibly a Post streptoccocal complication.
Other possibilities include a rheumatologic condition eg rheumatoid arthritis, lupus
