Me and this girl that have been friends forever are starting to get much closer, but even though she wants to make this happen she says she can't cause of a cousin of mine she was married too. They had a horrible relationship and broke it off. Now she backs off when i try to make certain "dating-like" moves and i notice her try also. I tell her i notice these things and she says i remind her of him. I need some female advice, help me make her understand that im not him and that she is being unfair.

well i am telling you tink she anit going to dump you so you need to make a pick between these two girls the girl you with or your friend you need to decide before you get hurt and cant get her back.

you need to understand what this girl is saying i bet she would love to date you but is scared of what your cousin would say if you two did go out on a date reassure her that your cousin won't come between the both of you and tell her you won't let no body touch her or hurt her and that the past is the past and she needs someone who is gonna love her and protect her and say you could make that happen that you will give her the life that she derserves

Honestly, you should not be chasing your cousin ex, that's F___ed. What do you think good will come out of your relationship. Keep it out of the family, you are a vulture preying on the weak. How about trying to date someone in a health manner, damn kid.

She should probably shy away from you only because she was already married into your family and if you two hook up it could really cause a conflict in your family relations.Never a good thing,unless you do not care for your family.

U have got to tell her and rassuring her over and over again that u are not him. Girl keep certain features and memoris deep in their mind its hard to get them out. Talk to her about that guy maybe she feel better and lets u into her heart and comfort space.

If I was you I would just be patient. Treat her like a princess & be all the nice things she wants in a man & soon she will see you for you & not your cousin. It sounds like she really likes you but is just treading carefully this time. Good luck

you will always remind her of your cousin.maybe she only likes you because of that.it may make her feel like she is still with him.I would move on .when the deep feelings really kick in she will back out.
