What if, don't you love "what ifs", an American Government, a tyrant, were to rip up the Constitution and rule with arbitary powers (I said "what if"!) and excecute people for carrying guns etc, would Americans accept external aid from wealthy Arab States to overthrow the tyrant. If the intervention force were then to overstay their welcome and rewrite the US Constitution how would Americans react?

I would have hoped that naming Saudi Arabia as the force of intervention was obviously far fetched. It was intended to be far retched. So far as having militia etc. the invading force disarmed them just in case they sided with the Government. (what if remember!)". Americans have a lot of rifles" and how many self propelled grenades/AK47s etc.
So far there's one good answer!

I get your point!
It's all a matter of perspective!
Been asking that question myself!
But to answer your question directly......we can fix our own internal problems!
We are perfectly capable!
Even with the fact that many people on both sides of the political aisle are involved in this globalization.....I have no doubt that there are still enough people in government who want the US to remain a world leader without having to run over another nations sovereignty to do that!
One good thing that the past few administrations have shown us is that their policies and economic meandering is not working and we must reassess who we elect to power and what we want them to accomplish!

Of course Americans would resist. Any country would resist because what's the use of getting rid of a tyrant and welcoming an invader? Your use of a wealthy Arab country as the invader is wrong though- it can't be taken seriously. What about using a country that has had a previous history with America, say Russia or China. How would Americans feel about that? A local tyrant is preferable to a self-proclaimed 'benevolent' invader.

If a totalitarian of an undesirable polarity came to power here, and became an American Stalin, you bet your ass I'd support a foreign force coming to liberate us. But if they "overstayed their welcome" and tampered with our constitution, well, I imagine they'd face the greatest insurgency of all time. 300 million pissed off Americans.... yep. Japan didn't invade after Pearl Harbor simply because they believed "there'd be a rifle behind every blade of grass" and an insurgency they wouldn't be able to handle. We Americans have a lot of guns.

Who are we kidding. It is happening. Not by brute force, but our country is being overtaken... financially. We own very little in our own country. Foreign interests control this country and we are sitting back and letting it happen. The smartest kids in our universities are exchange students. We have one of the weakest education systems of any major country. While students in Japan and India study 8-10 hours a day our kids play X-Box and complain about how their parents don't nurture them. There is no resistance. We just get fatter, lazier and more ignorant as we let our future slip away.

That is a good question.
It may be like in Iraq where the force was welcomed at first and then different groups fought each other over who will have power in the new government.

Please provide us only one occasion of Obama appearing like a tyrant. bill Clinton and Barrack Obama's regulations are very comparable. Sending bill Clinton to barter the launch of those females became a astounding circulate. i'm particular Obama's approval scores are going to bypass up lower back.

I would welcome them with open arms. Especially if our military was so incapable of doing anything on their own.
Lets cut the BS: We can't leave or the insurgents will be able to do whatever they want. If we haven't gotten rid of the insurgents that are forcing these laws on them, why should we leave?

Many Americans would probably hesitate to resist until they were sure they could do so in a "carbon-neutral" manner.

We have 301 million strong militia and the 2nd amendment. We wouldn't need any outside help. We are well capable of handling it ourselves.

AMERICANS would resist a foreign force, while bushbots would side with the invaders and call us patriots "insurgents".
