Let's say you're a girl I like but you don't want to talk to me anymore. So I decide not to try to respect your wishes out of respect for you and hope that maybe later we can start talking again. (This next part hasn't really happened, yet) Then, I decide to start things back up between us again but you feel offended because you think if I really wanted to keep you as a friend at least in the first place I would have tried harder to get you back. I thought girls didn't like persistant guys...? Wasn't I just doing what "you" asked?

I am together with my guy now only because he was persistent. It took him about a year; and I am thanking God he didn't give up.
This is what he would always say to me: " I feel like you're pushing me away sometimes. I want to let you know I'm not leaving. You're stuck with me." And now I am very happy I am!
