Xeroderma literally means "dry skin". It is a condition involving the integumentary system, which in most cases can safely be treated with emollients and/or moisturizers. Xeroderma occurs most commonly on the lower legs, arms, the sides of the abdomen and thighs. Symptoms most associated with Xeroderma are scaling (the visible peeling of the outer skin layer), itching and cracks in the skin

Common causes
Xeroderma is a very common condition. It happens more often in the winter where the cold air outside and the hot air inside creates a low relative humidity. This causes the skin to lose moisture and it may crack and peel. Bathing/showering too frequently, especially if one is using harsh soaps, may also contribute to xeroderma. Xeroderma can also be caused by a deficiency of vitamin A, systemic illness, overexposure to sunlight or some medication

I used to have exactly the same problem. Finally, I went to the Clinique counter and tried their three step process, which has helped enormously, and I now get very infrequent boils, mainly just during PMS, and my skin is no longer dry. The product is more expensive than drugstore product, but well worth the investment. The esthetician will test your skin to determine your skin type, and then recommend what intensity for you to use. If after three weeks you have not seen positive results, you take everything back for a full refund. You can also research this on clinique.com beforehand. Oh, and I only use the moisturizer once a day, not twice a day as recommended.
Best of luck to you, I know how difficult it can be - contact me by email if you need more information.

Boils are usually due to toxins in your body. You may just be getting an allergic reaction due to the cream you apply and not necessarily boils. I think that you might be referring to Acne Vulgaris. Stay away from creams that have fragrance and avoid products that are comedogenic=pore-clogging. You can find a list of ingredients in the Internet that are comedogenic so that you can avoid.
This is my suggestion: Wash your face with sulphur soap and skip the cream for your face. Sulphur soap is only 99 cents and can be found in any Osco Drug, Walgreens and CVS store. Sulphur soap is located in the section where they have products from Latin America (Mexico). This soap is great but the sulphur scent that comes from garlic is not the greatest or the worst, but I personally prefer a clear skin.

Eat healthier (balance meals), drink a lot of water, and keep hands off your face. I wish you a quick recovery on your condition.

You probably have pimples, not boils. Check the ingredients of the face cream you're using. If it is oil based, trash it. Oil base cosmetics and face creams can cause a rash of acne (pimples). Get a cream that does not have oils as the base make up of the product. It wouldn't hurt to see a Dermatologist too for some guidance. Good luck.

Apply 2 tablespoon raw milk on the face and neck or where ever it is dry and leave it to dry. Wash off with cold water. This helps to get soft skin. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at the link below.

That sounds like an allergic reaction or the cream is too rich. Many producst use mineral oil which clogs the pores and is bad for anyone's skin. Arbonne does not use mineral oil. They have a line called Beyond Basics Clear Advantage for acne. It's very good.

get a wash cloth(buy aveeno positively radiant body wash---the once that says helps even skin tone on the bottle) and instead of washing your face while taking a shower, wash it after you get out of the shower. Make sure you wash your face twice a day---once in the morning and once during the night. Buy cocao butter and use it to moisturize your face after you towel dry it. It'll work wonders for you.

It does sound like an allergic reaction. I would suggest using a more natural skin care routine as this is gentler on your skin and shouldn't cause the same reactions - try using green tea to cleanse the skin and sweet almond oil to moisturize and nourish the skin.
