Listen dear, I wouldn't say the stuff you don't want to hear, but I hope you understand what I'm going to say; despite the gap being huge, but since I believe that age is just a number, so I don't see the age gap as the problem here, but I se you as being 16 is the real problem, not because you're a kid, because you are not. It is because in this stage of your life, your feelings can swing easily, and what you like today may not be what you like tomorrow. If you were 26 and he were 42 I'd say otherwise, although the gap remains the same. But me, being 29 years of age, can hardly think of something common between me an a 16 year old girl, not because youngsters are fool or something, but c'mon your interests and stuff are way different. He flirts with you seeing you as a "female" if you know what I mean, he could even be attracted to you, but believe me that if things went more serious he would realize the things he's missing in that relationship! You also would miss a lot of stuff you can have with a boy closer to your age.
Set limits to this relationship, red ones which are not to be exceeded by neither you nor him, and you'll forget about it when you fall for someone closer to your age, and I expect it to happen soon. ;) you look ready.

well i don't know him personally so i can't just say he wants sex. if you like him for him well i don't see why not. what i think is if you can stand one more month of not asking him out and during that month finding out what he likes and dislikes then i believe you can go out with him. but if he asks for sex and that is all he wanted then dump him, say you are sorry to all the people who told you that and you didn't listen. but i doubt that he seems nice so i think u will have a long relationship.

Stay away! He is too old, you are young and impressionable and he knows that. He is experienced and he can manipulate you if he wants to. Find someone else. Do not lead him on by flirting with him. It will only cause trouble.
