Foreign people having children here and return home apply for that countries citizenship.
Under U.S. constitutional law, you may not hold 2 citizens ships. You have to give up one. Most likely the parents would want the home country citizenship in this question.
It time we have a constitutional law that states born in U.S. does not automatically give you citizenship. This would stop all the illegals crossing the boarder to just get the baby citizenship.

The child born in the U.S. acquires American citizenship by reason of birth and that child will forever be a US citizen wherever his parents take him or decide to live.

no, most parents are happy to have the child retain her citizenship. Some parents come here just to make sure their child is born here, then they return to their countries. Doctors see it all the time, and we are left paying the medical bills.

a toddler born to 2 US voters acquires citizenship at start, everywhere he or she is born. that's citizenship by way of way of descent that's working in this type of case. the actuality that the teen may well be born on a militia base is beside the point; and no person is ever born in a US embassy. beginning up at/on the two one in all those places might no longer confer US citizenship. US army bases and diplomatic posts are not US "sovereign territory" (some thing men and ladies human beings experience that shows, they are unsuitable!) for the acquisition of citizenship. a touch one born out of the country who has a unmarried US citizen dad or mum could desire to additionally be entitled to US citizenship, in spite of the indisputable fact that there are some regulations in one in all those case.

No many people from India come over with visas while they are pregnant with the intentions of giving birth in the US so that their kid will remain a US citizen even though they bring them back to their country right after. They do this so that when the child is old enough they can come back and petition to bring their entire family.

No the child is a U.S. citizen. This is a ploy that illegals are using right now to stay in the U.S. I think this law needs to be changed because the parents will drain our governments social programs and keep draining them until the child turns 18. It happens all the time and U.S. citizens are paying for it with our tax dollars.
