Never mind about the "almighty" cause he/she/it wont help you (as you have figured out by now), but I strongly recommend that you go see a chiropractor about your back pains. I have had chronic back pain for over 20 years. Been there and done that entire Dr. stuff. No good came of it! With only two visits to a good chiropractor, the pain has decreased by about 80% and is getting better after each visit! The bad part? I will probably need to go once every 4-6 weeks for the rest of my life, but it is worth the minor charge of $30 (and I can deduct it from my medical through work) Good luck, and make an appointment today!! What have you got to loose, except the pain?

I'm just getting over a real bad one. I took two Aleve and it's working. I would stretch even if it hurts. Hang like a monkey. This will relieve some tension from your back. Take a warm almost hot shower. Use Aspercreme to rub the area. Have somebody give you a massage. Last resort see a doctor.

Hi. Sorry you're in pain. Sometimes the only solution is surgery, especially if your disk is pushing on the spinal cord. Talk to the best surgeon you can find and see if that's what you need. Probably need an MRI to see the tissue. I am not a doctor!

1)Get some rest-sleep more than you do know,
2)Hot(not really hot!) showers will also make you relax,
3)Gently massage on the area with a creme or oil (and then sleep ;-))
4)wear cotton-made clothes and when you sweat change them immediately
5)Eat normal and specialy milk yogurt and in general proteins that help muscles (not much coffee-drink green tea it helps the body a lot!)
6)Try not to be stressed and laugh more

Yoga. Basic stretches will re-align back muscles, tendons and your spine. Not to mention little ones in pelvic area you may not have noticed before. Seriously. You don't even have to get to the 'pretzel' stage before you notice wonderful benefits of yoga exercise.
