I have no idea what cars are on the market at the mo, having had mine forever.. I have two children, one of whom is in a baby seat so i need 5 doors. I have two dogs so i need a nice big boot. Something economical but not wimpy. Also i'm a bit of a wuss and have been driving a renault clio and am a bit scared of anything too big. I don't want a massive estate. Saw a citroen that looked like a mpv but only 5 seats??? maybe something similar. I would like to spend about 3500 to 4000 any help please??!!!

Citroen is a Picasso - best selling MPV in the UK. I spent £4250 on an R reg Mercedes 250 estate (2.5 diesel turbo), loads of room for my two toddlers, and the dog. 40-50 miles to the gallon, insurance exactly the same as the Megane it replaced. My wife is tiny so was worried about the size but now she loves it - and it's not even as wide as our Megane.
