This is something I remember doing as a child. I would get up in the middle of the night to eat toilet paper and I still remember the taste and the thrill of doing something I shouldn't... I stopped when I thought that if ever I had to have an operation, the doctor would find toilet paper in my stomach (I was only a little girl !).
I'm now slightly older and realise it was a really stupid thing to do but, then, I put it down to my mum's cooking which had far less taste than my midnight snacks !

well i think u r trying 2 harm urself by eating toilet paper.well there r so many cuisines in the world why toilet paper?i think u r probably upset abt smthng n r eating toilet paper in frustration.i think it would b much better if u stop eating toilet paper.if u r able to cm out of this habit well n fine or else visit a psychologist or a psychaiterist if u feel that this habit o4 ur`s is not in u`r control .they could help u 2 cm out o4 this eating toilet paper business.i hope u cm out of this habit.

I have heard of people with eating disorders eating tissue as a way of filling themselves up instead of eating food, but I don't think it classes as self harm. It's nothing I've ever contemplated doing and I self-harm and have an eating disorder. I think you should get help, see your doctor, there must be an underlying issue that you aren't consciously aware of but is in your sub-conscious.

White, or colorful toilet paper has been bleached with chlorine, and contains traces of nasty chemicals, which don't cause harm on the skin, but can if you eat them. Go for the slightly yellowish, oxygen bleached stuff, if you can find it; otherwise take some turkey or beef jerky with you.

You have something known as PICA, where you eat non-edible objects.
Some people eat cigarette butts; toilet paper; anything white; dirt...you name it.
I suggest you begin taking a multivitamin/mineral supplement. If this does not help curb your desire for toilet tissue, you go see your Doctor.
At this point, you are not harming yourself...as long as you're only consuming small quantities.

i think u should try chewing gum so u wont eat the toilet paper, just a sugggesion..

Hmm - not the best of diets, I'd say - don't they use various chemicals, including bleach, in the manufacture of loo paper? I'd stick to toffees if I were you! If you look up 'toilet paper' on Wikipedia, you'll find out all sorts of fascinating facts about it - including how it's made.

Haha, I do that sometimes. It's sheer boredom.
I don't think it's bad for you, but it'll take a long time to digest so it's probably not the best idea.
