I doubt it. There is too much about the human brain and nervous system that is still not understood or repairable.

I mean, to successfully transplant a brain, one would have to be able to detach it from the spinal cord without causing damage and attach it to a totally new cord correctly.

Did you know, if a spinal cord gets split open, it's like sangel hair pasta falling out in fistful quantities? There's that many nerves packed in there that would have to be properly connected to the new brain.

maybe your own cloned body? I don't think it's too farfetched to think we might have clones made at birth to use as spare parts. Not clones that would ever be conscious, or probably even legal I guess.
