2 Timothy 3:16,17 "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

I'm guessing you've not actually read the Bible? There are quotes scattered throughout the OT and NT demonstrating God used humans to write the Bible. Doing a simple search, I found 15 within 2 minutes. Here are two:

Exodus 34:1 And the LORD said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke.

Deut. 17:18 “Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, from the one before the priests, the Levites."

It says so in Timothy, Galatians, Peter and other books. But the question is, how does that convince a person that God's Word is in fact God's Word? -- I mean, anyone can write a book and claim it's from God so why should the Bible be any different?

Jesus himself doesn't seek to convince you of it -- in fact, nobody could ever convince another person.

However, Jesus did say this, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from HIM who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own..."

In other words, if you really want to know for yourself if it really is from God then just try it out first -- then you will know first-hand if it really is from God or just another book. Otherwise, it would just be a case of judging something you have no real knowledge about.

All over the place. If you even read any one of the books of the Bible even once, then how could you have missed it?

----------------------------------------------------------
On the fifth of the month — it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin - the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians. There the hand of the LORD was upon him.
~Ezekiel 1:2-3 (NIV)

Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth!
For the LORD has spoken:
"I reared children and brought them up,
but they have rebelled against me.
The ox knows his master,
the donkey his owner's manger,
but Israel does not know,
my people do not understand."
~Isaiah 1:2-3( NIV)

The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
"Ah, Sovereign LORD," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."
But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.
Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "Now, I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."
~Jeremiah 1:4-10 (NIV)

We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
~1 Peter 1:16-21 (NIV)
