I no longer see the Mars Bar in confectionery sales.
Thank you, capitalist marketing, one and all.
But, nay, Sir - I have no cake for a wee girl.
Take one pound of your favorite chocolate and melt it into one quart of chocolate milk cooking both at low heat until it makes a wonderfully thick rich chocolate sauce. Cut up the following: one cantaloupe into bite size pieces, one quart fresh strawberries, three peaches diced into bite size pieces, one honeydew melon diced into bite size pieces.
Arrange the mixed fruits in ring on large serving platter.
Put the sauce in the "bowl" in middle of fruit ring. Serve.
Take turns dipping fruit into sauce and feed each other.

Mars Bar Cake
INGREDIENTS
6 (1 ounce) (168g) squares bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
1/2 cup (100g) white sugar
2 (1.76 ounce) (100g) bars chocolate covered nougat and almonds
2 tablespoons (30ml) heavy cream
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch springform pan. In the top of a double boiler, heat chocolate and butter, stirring occasionally, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool to lukewarm.
Transfer chocolate mixture to a large bowl. Beat in the flour and egg yolks. In a separate large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Fold 1/3 of the whites into the chocolate mixture, then quickly fold in remaining whites until no streaks remain. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Turn off oven, crack the door, and allow cake to cool in oven.
In a saucepan, melt chocolate covered nougat candy bars with the cream. Pour over cooled cake.
