Place the collar on her; give her two or three treats; take the collar off. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Then, place the collar on her and wait two seconds to give her a treat, two more seconds and treat, then take off the collar. Do this several times, then wait three or four seconds between treats. She should soon have a positive association with the collar. Do not have the collar on her unless you are working on desensitizing her to it.
As others have said, make sure that the collar fits properly. You should be able to fit one or two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck; if you can fit in more, the collar is too big.
Do not use a choke chain. They are only meant to be used while walking your dog. Dogs have died from being strangled after getting their choke chains caught on something.
You might also consider using a head or body harness instead of a buckle collar for walking. Again, these should not be left on the dog all the time, though.

(1) Put a choke-chain ........ if you dont feel like doing that then .....
(2) Put the collar on her, only when you take her for a walk .... that way she will associate the collar to walking (which she likes)
(3) Also put on the collar just before you give her biscuits or food ......... that way she will look forward to having the collar on , as she knows something good will follow
(4) Persisitence = Yes you got to keep putting it on ...... however just dont force it on her ........ also cuddle & hug her for a few minutes after you put it on , so that she does try to take it off immediately every time.
(5) Last but not the least , check the collar with your vet ...... is the material of the collar irritating the skin of your dog ? also check the colour of the collar ..... dont use bright colours .... use a colour which matches the colour of your dog.

no one mentioned this yet- are all your collars the same material? try a different material (leather) and make sure you are putting it on at the right size - or like ther person before me, look into getting a harness instead. - but putting the collar on and then treating her is a good idea - i would try that first!

Just use a choke chain collar. Don't get one to big that the chain hangs down so she can get her mouth on it. I had to do this to my dogs, they would eat the collars off each other or pull there own off and eat it.All stoped when I got the chain collars. Not the spiked ones aether.

just don't stop with it
or get a leash when you put it on her and like actually tell her that she has to wear it or no more walks and every time she does sumthin with the collar like ripping it apart you tell her Bad! when i started doing tht with my old dog she got used to the idea and just quit being annoying but now she likes it! But i dunno anymore what's going on had to give her away(but she's on a nice farm now)
so yeah do that with your dog and it will get used to it and start to love it!

Get a chain collar. She won't be able to get out of it b/c as you pull it tightens. Adn b/c it's metal she won't (shouldn't) be able to chew through it. And, they are surprisingly light so won't be any more uncomfprtable then any other collar you might put on her

Try using a harness which is more comfortable and the dog can not take it off. Have you seen one? They are more popular for animals who are notorious for being wild or stubborn like cats, ferrets, pigs....etc.

just keep putting it on her, she needs to get used to the feel, try getting a slightly tighter one so that she can't get it over her head, and deffinatly don't put just a leash on her, when she pulls too hard durring walks that will choke her

you need to make it tighter. you should only be able to slip a finger or two under it, and it shouldnt be able to slide over the ears.
