I have a hard time running for long periods of time. I need to run 1.5 miles in under 14minutes to become a cop but the thing is, i only can run 1.5 miles in 17 minutes no where near the passing limit. I do have slight ashtma but i have a puffer for that and even with puffer it only helps a little bit.

So are there any kind of drugs or anything as a matter of fact that helps improve your endurance so you can run for longer period of time?

There is a little known nutrient called DMG—DIMETHYLGLYCINE. I have used DMG when I was running in College and have found it to be instrumental in endurance training.

DMG has long been used by athletes to improve overall performance and endurance, to enhance oxygen utilization, and to improve recovery after strenuous exercise. Nutritionally oriented physicians have been using DMG to deal with fatigue, to enhance blood sugar metabolism, to improve liver function and to strengthen the cardiovascular system.

DMG has other great properties such as improving the immune system.

The day before you run load up on carbs, so your body will have energy to burn. Morning of eat a good breakfast. Years ago I use to take wheat germ oil in capsule form and I thought it helped w/endurance? I don't know about other people, but it was my experience. You can get at any store where vitamins are sold. It used to be cheap. Good Luck! G.

See the problem here is you cant use performance enhancing drugs to give you the edge you need because you want to be a copper....You could try IV therapy involving having your blood taken out when you have been excercising and then have it placed back into your body before your test....Athletes do it - the blood is them loaded with oxygen and therefore, the theory states its like supercharging your circulatory system.....Ohter than this and without resorting to illegal drugs you could try dexamphetamines- but you would need to see if these are allowed for your test or failing this youre just gonna have to resort to working harder to get stronger. You could try physical training with your local Army Reserve Regiment- they may let you tag along on their PT excercises....

really it is about the quality of the protein and vitamins you put in your system, check out these links, there are some good products here:

This is a great multi vitamin

http://www.ghchealth.com/methylcobalamin-sublingual-b12.php
this is the best absorbed b-12 on the market, I use both of these products and I see great energy!

these bad boys are awesome, many big name athletes use this!

this is a start on the vitamins, as far as the protein, you may have to do some research to find the best quality.

Good luck, I hope this helps!
