The map I am talking about appeared in one of the London papers a few weeks ago, it had been designed by some students. The paper did give the address of the website but I didn;t make a note of it.

I don't know what you mean by a tube map...but maybe you'll find this helpful. Go to ask.com and select maps and directions. Enter you starting address and your ending address and in addition to driving directions. it gives you the walking directions and how long your trip will take. Again. I dont know if this is what you wanted, but it is worth a try.

Hi!

No - but the way to do it is to go to http://www.tfl.gov.uk

Go to the journey planner and enter the tube station you are departing from, then the postcode or name of place you want to find. (i.e. Waterloo to Buckingham Palace, or Waterloo to )
That will tell you the average walking time, and show you a map of how to get there!

If you want walking times from station to station, you can find the postcode and address of each tube station on the TFL website. Then just enter it in the journey planner as before (i.e. Waterloo to (postcode of other station)

Hope this helps!

:-)
