And if you say(read yr bible) well, dont we all have a different reality?perspective?view? This is where the Holy Spirit comes in .....
If you truly are a believer, He will guide you into all truth.
The moment that you and I got saved, the Holy Spirit came to indwell us. Not through baptism....not through speaking in some strange tongues....no.....by simply believing in Him.

So......study to show thyself approved.....and pray. And He will lead you into the truth.

Follow what is in the Bible. Let the Holy Spirit be your guide. Ignore all of that garbage on TV. I agree that it can be very confusing for someone who is not a Pastor to sort out. Remember the gospel of Jesus---his death, burial and resurrection. Focus on the gospel and all of the false teachings and prophesies will fade away. Check everything with the Bible. If it ain't in the Bible, then it ain't about Jesus. God bless you and may the Holy Spirit enlighten you as to the truth, the only truth and nothing but the truth, which is in Christ Jesus.

Don't worry about their traditions, their idiosyncrasies, their love of water or their fear of water. A sin to one is not a sin to another, but know the Lord Jesus Christ. If there is a rapture we'll be caught up; if there isn't a rapture then I'm totally confused but I am still a child of the Living God and Jesus Christ lives within me. The Lord will forgive me for not thoroughly understanding everything in His Word, but He will not forgive me if I reject Jesus Christ.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. The Holy Spirit is my teacher and not Christian TV, Radio or Books or the Priest or the Pastor or the Evangelist. As I read the Word of God the Holy Spirit purifies and refines me. THIS PROCESS OF CHRISTIANITY I CAN TRUST. As religion thinks - it is not about who is right and who is wrong. It's about a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Anyone who studies God's word, the Bible, can know God's ways. The Bible is God's infallible word---everything else is just opinion or interpretation. Christian t.v. & radio, books, preachers--they can all be wrong which is why you must compare what you hear to the Scriptures. And pray for God to help you understand--He wants you to know the truth. Of course, none of us are going to get everything 100% right; the most important thing you need to get right is God's plan of salvation. And the Bible is very clear on that.

For once I kinda agree with 'Primoa19' on this.

Pray to God for understanding. Just reading the Bible alone won't make you full of knowledge and understanding.
Read Nehemiah 8:8. It brings the point out that it (the Bible) was being EXPOUNDED and there being a putting of meaning [into it]; and they continued giving understanding in the reading.

You need someone to help you to understand what you are reading. Not that I understand everything completely in it myself, but email me and I can see if I can answer some of your questions.

See, I read that and thought "hmmm, she typed in 5000 characters and got cut off because she's not *quite* to the question". But then I saw people *answering* the not-quite-a-question and thought, "hey maybe there is a god and he transmitted the real question to them" or maybe (much more likely) they have this canned answer ready - "seek him" or "know jesus, know peace". No, I'm not buying it. As far as I know your real question is "when I go to a new church, what's the best strategy to locate the bathrooms" and those answers you got just don't help (unless by "know Jesus" they mean to look for the statue of Jesus because the restrooms are always near that).

What does the Bible say regarding these things.
If you are not saved, then you need salvation first of all.
If you are saved you need to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead, direct, and show you what the truth is regarding this matter. If it does not line up with the Bible then that is false doctrine and doctrine Satan is trying to use to send you to an everlasting hell.

Yes, I see that too...but all that was listed doesn't really matter. All that is superficial...and not really the heart of what Jesus taught at all. Furthermore, if you practiced the truly deep and profound stuff Jesus taught - you would know from experience the value. If it is only theoretical and not practical understanding, this superficial stuff may seem quite importantant (when it isn't).

First, you must hear the true word of God .In the bible Romans 10:17 "Faith commeth by hearing ,hearing by the word of God ".A lot of religions pick and choose what they want to believe . Read the bible , start in the book of John , then hopefully your eyes will be opened . then find a bible believing church .
