i keep telling him to not talk to her and jus loose all contact with her.. but they're friends and i felt like i was a mega ***** saying that.. cos he doesnt usually get annoyed and he started snapping back at me saying "oh so u want me to walk past her and not say hi, and block her from msn and delete her from my phone etc etc"

I say just don't worry about it. Yeah you might want to watch out for the girl, but don't let it bother you. If it bothers you and you get too angry at him, he'll start getting angry at you for not trusting him. If he's really showing no interest in her don't worry about it. And if anything does happen between them, then obviously he's not ready for you anyway.
