Not necessarily - physical attraction, maybe, but you don't have to find someone beautiful to be attracted to them. Or at least women don't...I'm not trying to be smart, it's just that there's no point in trying to pretend that - as a massive generalisation - men find looks in their partner more important than women in theirs.

I fell in love with my husband "at first sight", but he's not especially good looking - he looked like a nice, sweet, caring, funny guy, and he is! Of course he fell for me for my looks....kidding, but people you love tend to become more beautiful to you the better you get to know them, whereas some of the real "male model" types get uglier. At least in my experience...

It's not physical beauty. It is called attraction.
I found that I was not attracted to pretty boys at all. I don't like skinny men either. So I would like to know what you mean by love and physical beauty.

No, or blind people would never fall in love.
There are people with physical beauty that I can't stand.
The foundation of true love is trust, a feeling of well being when with that person, how he/she makes you feel, how much you laugh and joke, what they do for others, your interests.
Physical attractiveness is just a bonus.

Physical is the first attraction, no doubt, but there is so much more than that! If you have no personality along with the beauty, to the curb you go!! We all have our own preferences in life....so do what you do...

True love comes from an unexplainable instent inner connection felt by both parties. It has absolutely nothing to do with physical appearence.

conversing because of the fact the sister of a as quickly as-upon-a-time (30 yrs in the past) anorexic, I wholeheartedly consider regard to the actual attractiveness. the assumption of romantic love (knightly love) is an phantasm that instruments us up for for failed relationships. numerous of our appealing young women human beings (and a few youthful adult men) injury themselves attempting to realize those imaginary standards. we could desire to instill in our young infants from an early age that the two are fictional concepts - maybe exciting to study in a singular - no longer some thing on which to form our self-properly worth.
