Paul had learned that the Saints at Corinth were contending over points of doctrine—with each faction aligning itself behind the church leader they supposed taught the views they espoused. Paul opened his letter by reproving them:

“Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

“Is Christ divided?” (1 Cor. 1:12–13.)

He then taught them the truth concerning some of the disputed doctrines and urged them to unite with all the leaders God had set in the Church. (See 1 Cor. 12.) Specifically, he mentioned Apostle, prophets, and teachers.

I don't imagine that the apostles would have a very high regard for the multiple denominations of Christian churches today, particularly the extent to which they each think that their view or interpretation or belief is the only right way. Jesus Himself is the only way and the only truth.

I can't give you an exact quote, but recently I was reading Martin Luther and he said, paraphrased, that when we fight with each other over interpretations, we are doing the work of Satan for him. I think there's wisdom in that statement.

Friend I believe with all my heart, God will have a ministry that will see eye to eye on the Revelations of God's word, & God will also have a BRIDE that went through a process of time to make themselves ready & that Bride will see eye to eye. Ephesians 4:11-17 Acts 2:38-47 Shows a unity of people. Isa 52:8 Speaks of a ministry or as some calls them thy Watchman, will see eye to eye. Rev.19:7 The BRIDE HATH(pass tense) made herself ready. Christ will be coming back for a people that had been washed by the watering of the word of God. Without spot, wrinkle or blemish. You ask what Apostle Paul would say, He had already said it, He said If our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. & he also said if any MAN or even an ANGEL from heaven come down & preached unto you any other Gospel then what we have preached, let him be accursed.

He's told us quite a lot already. See if this applies to any splitters you can think of...

Know any people who "think that godliness is a means to financial gain."?
1 Timothy 6:5

How about people who fit this description?

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!"
Galatians 1:8

Or maybe you know some people who object to this....

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."
Ephesians 2:8,9

Its not all the Christian religions that save us. God is much bigger than the box "organized religion" trys to put Him in. We are all different in one way or another. We have different cultures as well as personalities. Jesus died for us all. What ties us together isn't doctrines but a love first of all for God, and then to all those that have repented of sin and excepted His Son as their Savior.

I don't see that much of a difference. Nothing is new under the sun...there was still elitists in the church, still hypocrisy, dissention, corruption; there was still the passionate, the hopeful, the honest...
Though, I think that a good review of 1 John is always applicable.

They would be saddened. everyone thinks their way is the right way, what they need to do is through out everything except the BIBLE and learned its wonders and not covenants written by church committees saying "if you dance you will go to hell, if you swear you will go to hell". while God wants us to live as pure a life as we can he knows we are sinners.

There are two kinds of people in the world-Sinners and saved sinners.

St. Paul would underline the Scripture that asks "Is Christ divided?"

I was pondering your question as I scratched my *** and left skid marks on my underwear. yeah I totally agree with what Paul was trying to get across to the sheep. They wouldn't listen though would they?
