Just went back to weight watchers because without discipline I tend to not eat good. I have found that simple lunches like pea soup or any other soup with an apple really fills me up. I mentioned pea soup because of the high fiber. This kind of lunch really fills me up. When I get a hunger pang, I eat apple or banana and this works. I also find that Rye Crisp or Wasa bread with a touch of yogurt butter really fills me up. Have at least two vegetables with dinner and a salad if you choose. With this combination, your diet is healthy and you eat less of the main course. Keep meat servings to a minimum. The ideal serving of meat is a piece about the size of a deck of cards (weight watchers) Whole wheat pasta instead of regular pasta has less calories and more fiber and the sauces stick better. I have lost 6 pounds in two weeks but my diet now is high in fiber, my digestion is better and I am happier with myself.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.
Good LUCK!

I've got a feta cheese salad with cucumber, tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, baby spinach, coriander, sliced onions and chick peas. Very tasty and the only additions are ground pepper and some dried sage. My tip would be have something for dinner one evening and make extra to have for your lunch the following day - how about tuna, sweetcorn and pasta hot one evening and then cold for lunch the next day?

Grilled salmon + baked sweet potato + steamed veggies takes less than 22 minutes to fix. Also, here is a link to a sample meal plan.

Jacket potato with lots of low fat cottage cheese ( I like the onion and chive one.) and a huge salad with lots of fat free dressing. Quick and delicious, actually this is making me hungry, I'm gonna go make myself some right now!
