My doctor told me to give up milk products. I have tried soy milk...it is horrible....is there something with the same texture that actually tastes good that I can eat with cereal?

I have to avoid milk and milk products...no cheese, yogurt, sour cream, cream cheese, creamy salad dressings!

I had to give up commercial milk due to allergies. I can tolerate raw milk, butter, and cheese with no problems at all. Pasturized milk is toxic-its full of growth hormones, steroids, and antibiotics. The high heat of pasturization kills off any nutritional value, so it is added back in synthetically-its this stuff that most people react to. That, and the fact that cows are fed an unnatural diet based mostly on wheat and soy-another common allergen. Raw milk contains the enzymes needed to digest itself, and breaks down its own lactose. Raw milk and dairy products can be obtained at most food co ops or local dairy. I have been hospitalized several times from milk allergy, but I consume loads of raw dairy with no problems. Try rawmilk.com or the weston price foundation for more info. Soy milk is toxic-usually made with genetically modified soy. Nasty stuff. Have you tried rice milk? Its really easy to make homemade rice milk-you can add almonds or sesame seeds for more flavor and richness

Is it milk in general you have to avoid? Or is it the lactose. If it’s the lactose you can try Lactose free milk. Other than that all I can think of is soy milk and you can’t have that.
Try a health food store maybe they have something different on the shelves that I’ve not heard of.
