I am an old fart of almost twice 30 in age. I think I know what I am saying on this subject.

Look at some of the other answers to this question and these will confirm what I am about to say.

To start with, many teens today are under the mistaken impression that they are adults and have have all of the rights and privileges of adults, including sex. This is not the way things are in reality. The laws of most states would disagree with this attitude.

Giving advise to a 16 year old on how to catch a crush for sex could be illegal in some states (Under Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor). Most teens are not even aware of the Age of Consent laws in their own state.

Second, and just as important, is that many of the responses for these questions are coming from other teens who have little experience and knowledge, but strong opinions on the topic. This is not a chat room where you can get together with your peers and discuss personal problems. This is a world wide Question and Answer forum. You should be aware that cultural differences and the attitudes of those twice your age can be different.

I have not been a teen for over 40 years (I am now 59 years old). I do know the difference between a crush, a romantic relationship and really being in love. You can listen to me or ignore me. But let me tell you becaused you asked: The attitude of the younger users, many of whom ignore the wisdom and experience of the older users has far more to do with the P.O.'d answers you refer to.

Umm...because teens are'nt younger adults. Lets get that straight. Now, they get mad cuz we assume your asking these questions for a reason. Curiosity just is'nt believable. If you were really curious, you'd be studying something else other than sexual anatomy. And teens and younger should'nt know about sex or anything cuz they are too darn young. the 30+ ppl dont wanna be the ones responsible for corrupting your mind.

I'm 18 by the way, not some middle aged geezer.

heres from amiddle aged geezer ! u want to know why we are upset knowing that our 14 thru 17 year olds are having sex! it is a more dangerous enviornment than when we went thru it 17 to 20 some years ago! because having sex and getting pregnant or diseases is a severe extremely difficult way to start your young lives. so is the commitment that is supposed to be along with marriage and sex. otherwise if you really want serious advice on the subject ask a series question and we will give a serious answer !seriously lol

Well, the younger teens, it's understandable. For the older teens/young adults, you'd think they'd know how to do research or they'd know those things by now.

I can think of one reason but I'll leave it out and that is because it is impossible for adults to think that younger people have opinions and educated answers to simple problems that people need help with.

i dont really know but it is wrong because we have just as many questions as them if not more and we have every right to go on this website and ask questions and answer other ones in the best way possible so they can be mad at us all they want it is not stop us and then again they cant join us either so hahahahahaha

If y'all are so "curious" go ask your parents - oh, that's right - you don't want them to know you're doing that!! You are not "young adults" you're teens and should be getting an education in things other than sex. Us adults have lived through that age and know more than you do - we have awesome sex lives and have leared by doing rather than asking silly questions.

Most people are offended by the fact that younger people are asking questions about sex and relationships when they should be worrying about school and chores~
I personally think if you want to have sex at whatever age or if you want to date at whatever age do what you want, its your life~
The way i figure if you are offended by the question don't answer it but you know they have to put their 2 sense in~

Rev. Rene here,Well. in my case I don't get angry, it's just that I wish that I could answer all your questions, but I can't.Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to know everything about anything and not be able to help so many ham and eggers?
