There's this girl (one of my far relatives) who I really like. I don't see her much and I've barely even spoken to her but I'm too shy to speak to her about how I feel or strike up any conversations. is there any kind of way to indirectly show her I'm into her?

A sweet and sincere smile is the best indirect way. If you want to do more, then just find ways to get closer to her and be really (and I mean REALLY) playful. Have fun with her and just be a happy all-around guy. That would catch anyone's attention. Good luck

Since she is a relative (distant or not) she may find it odd that you show interest in her...so, you need to be especially tactful and kind of tune in to the response you get from her. Maybe start out by just giving her a casual call to say hello. You can open with something like "I was just thinking about you and thought I'd give you a call to see how you're doing? Whatcha been up to?" Then just make small talk. Tell her what your day was like and then maybe ask her if she wants to hang out with you sometime...go to a movie, or grab some lunch.

One way to do this would be to find out (through relatives or other people who know her) what kinds of things she's involved with or interested in. Hopefully, you will discover some activities or interests that you both share in common. So then pick one of these things out, and use it as something to talk with her about the next time you see her. Talking about something that you already know all about, or are already involved in, will help you cut through your shyness, and will give you an opportunity to interact with her in a "natural" way.
You should initially avoid just trying to give her the message that you are "REALLY INTO HER"--after all, you rarely see her and you've hardly ever spoken to her, and coming across as being so very much "INTO HER" might freak her out and make her think that you're some kind of maniac or something.
So find something to talk with her about that she's interested in, so that having some conversations like this can allow you both to get to know each other. You will then have a chance to come across as an OK guy. And then, once that's established, you can show her that you're interested in her by phoning her, asking her to go out to the movies, etc.--which are simple, easy, and low-key ways to let her know you're interested.

I do not understand how you like her if you have barely spoken to her. Being attracted to and liking are 2 different things. Indirect is equivalent to playing games in my book. You can be assertive in a gentle and non-threatening way. It is true that if she is interested, you will then know, if she starts to play games look elsewhere. If she is not interested, you will have dodged a bullet.

Just take a deep breath and go talk to her. If she's intersted in you, good. After a bit you can take it to the next level of actually telling her you have feelings for her. If she isn't, then you know without showing your hand.

Hi,
You cannot show her you like her if you dont meet her too often. You have to be friendly with her first and for that you have to meet her quite often. Be good to her, help her and she'll start liking you. Once you too become friends, you could tell her how you feel.
