Well, that's a fairly rare one. Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, with Thrombocytopenia. Affects kids more,
Can be treated with steroids, IV immunoglobins (IVIG) Cyclosporins, Exchange transfusions, Splenectomy and medications, such as Rituxin, Chemotherapy.
You are most likely seeing a good hematologist.
